Santa's helpers give merry Christmas to children touched by tragedy

  • Community

Two local children got showered with gifts this Christmas after losing their young aunt.

Leslianette Quintana Betancourt, 25,was pregnant with her son when she was found Dec. 3, dead inside the Pleasantville home where she was living with her boyfriend.

He is now charged with her killing.

She beloved aunt was like another mother to the second- and fourth- graders.

While no one can replace her and their lost little cousin, several of Santa's local helpers got together to make sure there was a special delivery to their grandmother's Atlantic City home.

The Demcats, headed by brothers Elijah and Isaiah Langford, picks a special family each holiday to help boost Santa's visit.

The children had a full wall of presents under the tree, along with a $500 Visa gift card for the family.
