Another unsubstantiated threat put Egg Harbor Township on shelter-in-place for a second day Wednesday.
Parents got another robocall from Principal Jacki Carugno on Wednesday, again saying the school was not allowing anyone inside or out "out of an abundance of caution" as another threat was investigated.
Students inside the building were allowed to move from class to class, BreakingAC was told.
On Tuesday, students were kept in their classrooms, causing many to complain about being hungry or needing to use the bathroom on an Instagram post about the shelter-in-place.
"We understand and appreciate that parents are concerned when they hear that an 'unsubstantiated threat' was reported at a school," Egg Harbor Township police later wrote Wednesday on Facebook. "Especially when it happens two days in a row.
"Many of our officers are also parents and have students in the schools as well. We share your concerns and want to assure you that the safety of the students and staff is our top priority," the post continued.
