Galloway man killed in Hamilton Township crash

A Galloway Township man was killed in a crash in Hamilton Township on Saturday night.

James Langlois, 29, of Richland, was driving a Dodge Ram south on Route 50 just after 6 p.m., when he crossed over into the oncoming lane near Old Egg Harbor Road, police said.

He struck a Dodge Ram heading north.

The other driver, 62-year-old Thomas Neyers, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Langlois was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening.

Traffic was diverted for several hours.

The Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, Mays Landing and Laureldale fire departments, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Department of Transportation assisted at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Hamilton Township police at 609-625-1511.
