  • Crime-Courts

Atlantic City police arrested six men and a woman during surveillance operations targeting areas that were the subject of complaints during Citistat meetings.

The Citistat meetings bring together leaders to hear about issues that concern residents.

Alexie Cordero and John Jamison were seen engaged in a drug deal Monday in the area of Renaissance Plaza, Lt. Kevin Fair said.

Cordero, 48, of Atlantic City, was found with 57 bags of heroin and 31 buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual film.

Jamison, 58, also of Atlantic City, had a single bag of heroin. He also had a warrant, Fair said.

The next day, four men and a woman were arrested in the first block of South Florida Avenue, after several drug deals were seen in that area, according to the report.

Arrested were: Ricardo Berrios, 37, of Camden; Christian Burk, 44, of Levittown, Pa.; Thomas Nardone, 55, of Atlantic City, and Breanna McAuley, 33, of Margate.

All seven were charged on summonses and released with pending court dates.
