A Middle Township man who served prison time for child endangerment was arrested Friday on charges he possessed child pornography.
Patrick L. Grace, 35, previously served a three-year prison sentence on similar charges, court records show. He was released from prison in 2018.
The latest allegations stem from a National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTip, which revealed that child sexual abuse materials were uploaded to a social media account an investigation later linked to Grace.
His home was searched with a warrant Friday, when several items were seized, according to a joint release from Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Middle Township Police Chief Jennifer Pooler.
An analysis of those items is pending.
He is currently charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child for distribution of child sexual abuse materials along with a third-degree charge of endangering the welfare for possession of those materials.
Grace is in the Cape May County Correctional Center pending a detention hearing.
