Hamilton Township fire displaces six residents

The cause of a fire that displaced the residents of a Hamilton Township home is under investigation.

Police received a call of a structure fire at about 8:30 Wednesday night in the 1300 block of Arlington Avenue in the township's Mizpah section, according to the report.

Firefighters arrived about 10 minutes later, confirming there was a working fire.

No injuries were reported.

Six residents were displaced.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Detective Murray at 609-625-2700.

Firefighters from Mays Landing, Laureldale, Weymouth, Richland and Collings Lakes assisted, along with the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad and the American Red Cross.
