Atlantic City's anti-violence unit's plans to celebrate the community hit a snag courtesy of Mother Nature.
A Community Day planned for Saturday has been canceled due to the weather forecast.
But the city promises that a new date will be set.
The hosts will be One Neighborhood Evolution, the city's anti-violence team.
One Neighborhood Evolution was formed in November 2020, as a response to the street violence.
Mayor Marty Small has taken heat for those he chose for the team, since they have criminal records. But Small has insisted that those who had issues are the most qualified to help others in similar situations.
The state also has categorized the resort as a "second-chance city."
