A Bridgeton man is charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old man last week.
Edwin Lopez-Parra was found bleeding and unconscious outside his home in the 200 block of Atlantic Street in Bridgeton at about 3:15 a.m. on the Fourth of July, according to police.
He died on the way to Inspira Hospital in Vineland.
Selvin Omar Garcia-Ramirez, 21, was arrested around 9 a.m. on Cedar Street, and charged with murder and weapons offenses.
The two men knew one another, according to police, who would not elaborate on the relationship.
Police called it an isolated incident.
Garcia-Ramirez remains in the Cumberland County Correctional Facility.
