A man was wounded in an Atlantic City shooting Monday evening.
Police were called to the 100 block of South Vermont Avenue at about 6 p.m. in reference to a man shot, Capt. Andrew Leonard said.
Arriving officers found a 37-year-old city man with a gunshot wound, according to the report. It was not considered life-threatening.
The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
