No Rembrandts, Picassos or Monets are needed – just kids with some imagination and creativity.
Sea Isle City is bringing back its popular art contest that allows children and teenagers up to 17 years old to design the shore town’s beach tags.
Budding artists are invited to create a unique design for the 2025 beach tags in four categories: Seasonal, Winter Holiday, St. Patrick’s Day and Veterans Beach Tags.
Sea Isle first launched the beach tag art contest in 2022. There were a total of 137 entries last year when the contest was held for children to design the 2024 beach tags.
The contest to design the 2025 beach tags is now underway. Each child or teen who participates in the contest must choose one of the four categories and may submit only one piece of artwork based on that category.
Submissions can contain no more than four colors.
All artwork must be submitted on an official contest template and accompanied by a contest entry form and a signed waiver. Templates, entry forms and waivers are available in the lobby of City Hall, in the Sea Isle City Welcome Center and online at the “Departments/Beach Tag” page.
Entries may be mailed or hand delivered to the Sea Isle City Tax Collector’s Office, City Hall, Second Floor, 233 JFK Blvd., Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
All entries must be received by Aug. 30. Winners will be announced during the Sept. 24 City Council meeting.
