The annual Women's Forum raised $170,000 to benefit Greater Atlantic City Charitie.

Nearly 550 guests attended the event last week at the Golden Nugget, highlighted by humanitarian, correspondent and New York Times best-selling author Jenna Bush Hager.

Guests enjoyed a lunch and the opportunity to bid on more than 110 auction items including concert tickets to Pink, Taylor Swift swag gift basket, designer handbags, chic jewelry, electronics, hotel stays, dining offers, spa packages, restaurant and shopping gift cards and wine baskets.

“We were delighted to have Jenna Bush Hager as this year’s distinguished speaker at the Women’s Forum, said Brett Matik, the event's co-chair. "Our candid conversation about her career, raising children and growing up in a well-known family provided the audience with a keen insight into Jenna’s life.

“The sold-out program and auction afforded Greater Atlantic City Charities the opportunity to raise funds to support four local nonprofits.”

Those groups are Atlantic City Day Nursery, the Boys & Girls Club, CASA and Jewish Family Services.
