Two Atlantic County men are charged in a rash of commercial burglaries over three states.
Devin Arnold, 22, of Galloway Township, and Laqua Tucker, 20, of Pleasantville, were arrested at their homes Friday morning, as the result of a multi-jurisdictional operation coordinated by Galloway Township police.
Arnold tried to run, but was quickly apprehended, police said.
The crimes allegedly spanned into New York and Pennsylvania.
The men are charged in at least a dozen cases in New Jersey, court records show.
“Today’s operation is a prime example how multi-agency efforts and cooperation can lead to successful outcomes,” Chief Richard Barber said. “Galloway is proud to work with our fellow law enforcement partners to investigate and solve crime that affects the public throughout New Jersey.”
Arnold and Tucker are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility awaiting a hearing.
Galloway police thanked police from Pleasantville, Atlantic City, Stafford Township and the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Station.
"We look forward to continuing our positive relationship to serve the citizens of New Jersey," Galloway police said.
