A Mays Landing man was arrested shots were fired along the Route 30 motel corridor in Absecon.
Officers responded just before 10:30 p.m., and found evidence of gunfire, Capt. Jeffrey Mazer said.
A search for potential victims began immediately, but have found no evidence of victims at this time, Mazer said.
Surveillance video and an extensive investigation led police to identify the suspect, according to the report.
Desmon Wilson, 23, was arrested and charged with weapons offenses.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a hearing.
Absecon police Department are seeking any additional information.
