  • Crime-Courts

Three Atlantic City men are jailed after drug arrests Tuesday.

The joint investigation with the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office resulted in the seizure of 34 vials of cocaine, 193 wax folds of drugs, prescription pills, suboxone, nearly $3,000 in cash and a knife.

Police also seized a vehicle, Capt. Kevin Fair said.

Ricky Bailey, 60, was arrested in the 1800 block of Hummock Avenue after he was seen in a drug deal, according to the report.

Floyd Spencer, 37, and Christian Mateo, 22, were investigated for trying to distribute drugs in the first block of South Florida Avenue, Fair said.

Mateo tried to run, and was found in possession of a knife, according to the report. He was charged with a weapon offense and obstruction of justice as a result.

All three were charged with various drug charges.

Bailey and Mateo were also charged with money laundering.

They were being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending detention hearings.
