An Atlantic City man was sentenced to nine years in prison in the sexual assault of an 8-year-old Galloway Township girl.
Andreas Andreadis, now 45, was convicted Sept. 29, of second-degree charges of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child by sexual conduct and endangering the welfare of a child by abuse.
Andreadis went into the girl’s bedroom Sept. 15, 2019, and touched her private area while she was sleeping.
He must serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before he is eligible for parole. Andreadis would then have to file as a Megan's Law offender and be under lifetime parole supervision.
He has been in the Atlantic County Justice Facility since Sept. 27. He remains there awaiting transfer to state prison.
