Five displaced, dog rescued in Atlantic City fire

Five people were displaced along with two dogs in a fire Tuesday in Atlantic City's Gardner's Basin.

The fire burned the home on Barkentine Court in Harbour Pointe, Fire Chief Scott Evans confirmed.

The fire was contained and extinguished quickly, he said.

Firefighters Rashawn Brock and Joe Hackney rescued one of the dogs from the fire.

No injuries were reported.
