A Mays Landing man recently released from prison is accused of a lewd and indecent act along Linwood's bike path.
Brian Bracken, 32, is charged with fourth-degree lewdness, Sgt. Tim Devine said.
Bracken allegedly committed the act around 8:40 Sunday morning, while seated on a bench in the area of Seaview Avenue.
He was released from New Jersey State Prison in April, after serving a seven-year sentence on three counts of robbery from 2012, state Department of Corrections records show.
He also has another lewdness charge pending out of Waterford Township, Camden County, court records show.
He was arrested in June and charged with a disorderly persons count of lewdness observed by others.
Bracken was released on a summons in the Linwood case.
In 2019, Bracken was reported missing from Egg Harbor Township, where he was living with his parents in Heathercroft.
He was found and then jailed. At the time, he had been recently released from prison on the 2012 cases, but had not gone to work, meetings or checked in with his parole officer, BreakingAC reported at the time.
Bracken was sent back to prison, where he served the remainder of his sentence before his release April 17.
