Kendrick Perkins, Who Definitely Has Read the Player Participation Policy, Says the NBA Should Investigate the Sixers Again

Kendrick Perkins had this to say on NBA Today:

As an NBA analyst for the "worldwide leader in sports", I'm sure Mr. Perkins has read the league's Player Participation Policy.

The document states in no uncertain terms that instances of "multiple player absences in the same game", defined as "multiple star players on the same team miss the same game", trigger "automatic league office investigation/discipline".

So, Big Perk wants another investigation. Well, the rules say Big Perk is going to get one.

I think Perkins is a funny personality with some witty lines. He embodies the direction these networks want to go in this day and age. Quick, bold, good for social media engagement.

That often comes at the price of preparation and rational thinking.

I'd like to think Perk has an earpiece in with a producer saying, "Uh, Kendrick, it literally says that in the NBA's Player Participation Policy".
