An Atlantic City man faces five years in prison after pleading guilty to a stabbing that wounded a Bridgeton man this summer.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue just before 10 p.m. Aug. 14, and found the 27-year-old victim two blocks away, bleeding heavily.

He had been stabbed in his right arm, left side of his abdomen and lower left leg, according to the charges.

Rashaun Williams, 39, was arrested hours later, still in possession of the pocketknife used in the attack.

The two had been involved in a verbal altercation before Williams pulled out the knife, police previously said.

The assault was captured on surveillance video provided by the convenience store, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 3.

He remains in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
