An Atlantic City man was arrested with a gun inside his vehicle after he allegedly brandished it as a group of juveniles.
Police were called to the 100 block of North New Jersey Avenue just after 9 p.m. Friday, Capt. Kevin Fair said.
A group of several teenagers were on a porch when a neighbor approached and pointed a handgun at them, Sgt. Garry Stowe was told.
Stowe went to the neighbor's home and spoke with Haneef Bashir, who matched the description of the suspect, according to the report.
Officer Zayon Pitts found a loaded handgun in Bashir's vehicle, Fair said.
Bashir was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and aggravated assault.
He is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
