The impact of a two-vehicle crash sent an SUV into a Pleasantville market Wednesday afternoon.
A customer leaving the store suffered minor injuries when a Chevrolet Tahoe went into the glass storefront of New Mi-Tierra market on North Main Street, police said.
Officers and firefighters were called to North Main and Mulberry Avenue at 3:43 p.m. for a crash involving the Tahoe and a Honda CR-V, Capt. Angelo Maldonado said.
Joseph Goldberg, 59, of Ocean View, Cape May County, was heading south on North Main Street when westbound driver Babul Dev pulled out from Mulberry and the two collided, according to the report.
Goldberg's Tahoe went into the store, injuring cashier Kenneth Slemmer, 61, of Pleasantville.
Slemmer was sent to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus with minor injuries.
Goldberg sustained minor injuries and was evaluated by TriCare EMTs at the scene.
Dev, 58, of Atlantic City, and his passenger were taken to AtlantiCare's City Campus.
He was issued traffic summonses for careless driving and failure to yield, Maldonado said.
NOTE: Police originally said the person injured inside the store was a cashier and misspelled his last name. The story has been updated to correct that information.
