The rankings consider key factors such as student diversity, state test scores, teacher quality, and overall school performance, drawing from reviews and statistics provided by students, parents, and the U.S. Department of Education.
Here’s a closer look at five elementary schools with the best teachers in the county.
Niche Teacher Grade: A
Seaview Elementary School holds 445 students in grades pre-K, K-4 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. Teachers at this school have the goal of providing high-quality education, as showcased through state test scores. These have shown 72% of students are at least proficient in math and 62% in reading. The school also received an overall Niche grade of A-, an A- in academics and B in diversity.
Niche Teacher Grade: A
John C. Milanesi Elementary School in Buena Regional School District provides an above average education to 202 students in grades pre-K, K-2 with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. State test scores have shown 35% of students are at least proficient in math and 45% in reading. The school earned an overall Niche grade of B, a B in academics and an A- in diversity, promising an overall great teaching and education to its students.

640 students in grades K-6 roam the halls and sit in the classrooms of Arthur Rann Elementary School. With a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1, the school offers high-quality teachers and education to its students as shown in state test scores. It was found 34% of students are at least proficient in math and 33% in reading. The school earned overall and academics Niche grades of B, as well as an A in diversity.

Located in Absecon, H. Ashton Elementary School consists of 546 students in grades pre-K, K-4 with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. The hands-on attention is consistently reflected as earned in the teacher grade of A-. Aside from their high-quality teachers, the school has also earned an overall Niche grade of B-, academics grade of C+ and diversity grade of A.
