Protesters in Atlantic City and Galloway Township joined in on the national "Hands Off" movement Saturday.
Atlantic City and Galloway Township joined in on the nationwide protests Saturday against what organizers have labeled a "billionaire power grab" of the government.
More than 1,200 protests took play around the country, outside state capitols, federal buildings, congressional officers, Social Security headquarters, parks and city halls.
They had a message for President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who heads Department of Government Efficiency: "Hands Off!"
In Galloway Township, protesters lined Jimmie Leeds Road with signs conveying messages of "Hands Off Immigrants" and "Hands Off the Pinelands."
"This is what democracy looks like," one protester yelled.
Drivers honked in approval, with some even holding up signs of their own.
O'Donnell Memorial Park was the spot for those calling for "Hands Off!" in Atlantic City.
"Whether you're outraged by skyrocketing health care costs, job cuts, attacks on privacy or the cutting of essential services, this moment is for you," read the announcement inviting protesters to gather in the resort.
There were no reports of any issues at the protests.
