An Atlantic City man faces 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of more than a pound of cocaine.
Darrick Mallory, 53, was arrested June 2, 2022, after police searched his home at 711 Harris Place and found a multitude of drugs, according to the original charges.
The search led to 1.3 pounds of cocaine, more than three pounds of marijuana, THC edibles and about 22 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. There also was $6,558 in cash, along with assorted drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and hundreds of multi-sized vials commonly used to package cocaine, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms for sale.
A search of his cellphone contained photographs of crack cocaine being cooked his home's stove.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in April.
Mallory remains free after Judge Patricia Wild denied the state's motion for detention following his arrest.
