The quiet spirit of the city makes it a real getaway from the naggingness of city life, and it fits in perfectly with people who want relaxation. There is the option to indulge some more in the traditional Omani hospitality that includes local cuisine, which is appreciated by many, and bustling markets where spices, textiles, and frankincense are sold.

For Salalah, there have been options like Salam Air, the cheaper option. Oman Air is the national flagship carrier that operates service to Salalah. Both have regular flights from Muscat to Salalah for passengers to fly comfortably. For budget travelers, Salam Air is very pocket-friendly, while Oman Air offers some luxury with its add-on facilities, including in-flight entertainment and premium seating options.
