A Bridgeton man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on the Atlantic City Expressway early Saturday morning.
State Police were dispatched in response to a report of a wrong-way driver on the expressway at 4:27 a.m., Sgt. First Class Charles Marchan told BreakingAC.
While troopers were on their way, they learned the black Infiniti had crashed into a concrete barrier and toll reader support structure at milepost 4.1 in Pleasantville.
The driver, 23-year-old Diana Barrios-Ortiz of Bridgeton, suffered minor injuries.
Her passenger, 24-year-old David Salas, was killed.
The crash remains under investigation. No additional information was available.
