Atlantic County has issued the following traffic advisories for the week of Aug. 4.
NJ American Water will be doing work from 7 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday in Galloway Township, weather permitting.
The following will be closed during those times:
Great Creek Road between Jimmie Leeds and Route 9.
Pitney Road between Collins Avenue and Jimmie Leeds Road.
The northbound lane of Shore Road in Somers Point will be closed between Groveland and Ocean avenues from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday this week, weather permitting. The southbound lane will remain open.
A detour also will be in effect from 6 a.m. to noon Tuesday on Shore Road between Goll and East New Jersey avenue, weather permitting, for work by a private developer.
Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Police and traffic directors will be on sites to assist.
