Three men were arrested with a stolen gun Tuesday night, after Egg Harbor Township police were called to King Pin Lanes for an armed man.
The caller told police two men were fighting when one retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and then came back into the building threatening to shoot people.
The man was accompanied by several other people, according to the call.
Police were on the way when they learned that the suspect had left the building and was trying to leave, Capt. Cherie Burgan said.
Police arrived to find the vehicle in the rear parking lot of the business, according to the report.
A high-risk car stop was conducted, and all three occupants removed, Burgan said.
"Our communications center played an integral role in ensuring that the other patrons of the business were kept inside by management while police navigated the incident," she said.
A loaded handgun was found, and the three men were arrested.
The gun was reported stolen from Ohio. It was not clear who allegedly retrieved the gun.
Shuaib Wright, 19, of Egg Harbor Township, and Aziz Coley-Wilson, 20, and Mikel Jones, 18, both of Atlantic City, were charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a large-capacity magazine, terroristic threats and receiving stolen property.
Police thanked those who brought the incident to their attention, along with Pleasantville and Northfield police who responded and assisted with the incident.
All three were taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
