Atlantic Cape Community College continued its Commencement Week celebrations with culinary medals, nursing pins and the completion of more than 1,300 hours of hands-on training for radiologic technicians.
The Shore Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology graduated students, including 10 who received associate in applied science degrees during the ceremony at the Walter E. Edge Theater on Atlantic Cape’s Mays Landing Campus.
Shore Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology Program Director Kerry Raymond spoke highly of each and every graduate for their commitment, hard work and compassion to deliver the best patient care possible.
Two years of hard work mastering the techniques and skills of the culinary world and perfecting their craft were the ingredients needed for 26 Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts’ graduates to get their degrees this week.
An ACA Medal Ceremony was held at the Mays Landing Campus for 17 students who earned their Associate in Applied Science Degree in Culinary Arts and nine who received their Associate in Applied Science Degree with a Baking and Pastry option.
Atlantic Cape Community College celebrated its 82 Nursing Program graduates this week with the centuries old tradition of pinning.
Nurse pinning began 900 years ago as a way to recognize those who vowed to care for the sick and wounded.
“Today marks not just the completion of a rigorous academic journey, but the beginning of a lifetime commitment to the passion, resilience and service," said Atlantic Cape President Dr. Barbara Gaba.
