Dozens of imitation guns taken from Atlantic City store

Atlantic City police took 62 imitation guns that looked at felt real out of a Boardwalk store selling them illegally.
Officers Nicholas Grasso and Domenick Montanaro were patrolling the boardwalk at about 10:45 a.m. Monday, when they saw a sign in the window of a store located at 1311 Boardwalk advertising BB guns, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Atlantic City Council outlawed the sale of imitation and toy firearms in September 2014.
The guns appeared to be real in relation to size, weight and color with the exception of an orange tip at the end of the barrel, according to the report.
The officers confiscated 62 firearms from Bags and Accessories.
The owner of the store, Naman Rafi, was issued a city ordinance for the possession and sale of the firearms.
