Alejandro Gonzalez-Santos Jr. was the teenager killed by another teen in Egg Harbor Township, according to his obituary.
The 16-year-old died Friday as the result of a gunshot wound to the head inside a home on Woodrow Avenue.
A 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses.
Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner had not released the name of either teen.
Gonzalez-Santos had just started working as a cashier at ShopRite in Somers Point, according to his obituary.
He worked at Castaway Cove in Ocean City during the summer.
Like many teens, he loved playing his Xbox, listening to music and riding his skateboard.
Gonzalez-Santos' funeral is set for Saturday.He is survived by his parents, Alejandro Gonzalez-Santos, Sr. and Crystal Ann Hartman; his siblings, Lauren, Yasmine, Mary, Celia, Ivan, and Kenny; his grandparents, Anna and Nelson Hartman and Darlene Hartman, along with aunts, uncles and cousins, and a girlfriend..
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m, Saturday at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road in Northfield. A service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township.
