Atlantic City man indicted in killing of 10-year-old at football game

The Atlantic City man accused of killing a Pleasantville boy at a high school football game has been indicted for murder, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
Alvin Wyatt, 31, is accused of coming to the game focused on what the Atlantic County prosecutor called "petty vengeance."
But when he allegedly shot into the crowded stands on Nov. 15, it was a 10-year-old who was mortally wounded.

Micah Tennant, known to his loved ones as Dew, was at the playoff game watching his cousin's Pleasantville Greyhound's face-off against Camden.

The 10-year-old boy who dreamed of becoming a DJ died 10 days later, never regaining consciousness.

The alleged target, 27-year-old Ibn Abdullah, was wounded, along with a 15-year-old boy.

Four other men, including Abdullah and Shahid Dixon, who is accused of FaceTiming Wyatt from the game to let him know Abdullah was there.

Wyatt is also charged with two counts of attempted murder, unlawful possession of weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Wyatt remains in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

The little boy who garnered the love and support of a community after being critically wounded in a shooting at a high school football game has died, the prosecutor announced Wednesday afternoon. Micah Tennant, 10, was a fighter, his mother has said as she kept friends and family posted on his condition from his bedside.
