Two Volunteers of America workers helped stop an attempted sexual assault and capture the suspect Tuesday, police said.Police were called to the first block of Arkansas Avenue at about 8:30 a.m.

Kevin Fair said.Lewis tried to run away, but was tackled by one of the staff members as the other helped the victim, according to the report. The woman was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatment.
Lewis, 51, of Atlantic City, was charged with attempted sexual assault, aggravated assault and contempt of court.
