Two men were arrested Saturday, after police investigating a crash allegedly found them with guns.
Officers Danish Mohammad and Tyler Daily were investigating the two-car crash at Mississippi and Arctic avenues when they found two men in one vehicle each had a gun, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Divier Silva, 25, of Atlantic City, and Ernesto Contreras-Jimenez, 20, of Pleasantville, each had a loaded handgun, according to the report.
Silva's gun had a 30-round magazine, Fair said.
The officers also allegedly found more than nine ounces of marijuana in the vehicle.
Both were charged with drug and weapons offenses and sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
