Pleasantville police virtual meeting will check in on residents

  • News

Pleasantville police are reaching out to the community with a virtual meeting Thursday evening.
"We are hearing and feeling a lot of anxiety in our community about the election and a perceived risk to the public," Chief Sean Riggin said. "We want to take a few minutes to make sure we are getting on the same page as our community."
In light of recent national events, the department has partnered with Stockton University, who will provide translation services to make sure the entire community is reached.
Riggin also commended Mayor Judy Ward for her leadership.
Residents can view the meeting via the department's Facebook page starting at 5 p.m.
