It's a promise fulfilled, Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small said as the last minutes of the Trump Plaza ticked away Wednesday morning.
Media set up at One Atlantic Events — the closest to a front row seat as safety allowed — and vehicles arrived at Bader Field readying for the long-awaited event.
For safety, the city set up an exclusion zone, which will be evacuated hours before the implosion.
Georgia to Arkansas avenues were blocked from Atlantic Avenue to the beach. The area will be blocked off on the Boardwalk and beach.
