A Brooklyn man was armed when he was arrested last week in an Atlantic City shooting, police sadi.
An investigation by the Violent Crimes Unit led to a description of the suspect, who was arrested two days later.
Officer Troy Grams and Kevin McGloin saw a man matching the suspect’s description at 11:41 p.m. Aug. 30, in the 2900 block of the Boardwalk, Aristizabal said.
The officers approached Neil, who became agitated while they were talking talking to him and tried to walk away, according to the report.
He refused orders to stop, and a struggle followed, Aristizabal said.
During the struggle, Henry dropped a satchel that had a 40-caliber handgun inside, according to the charges. It is believed to be the gun used in the shooting.
Henry is jailed on weapons charges along with two counts each of aggravated assault and resisting arrest and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
