A Pleasantville man pleaded guilty to resisting arrest in a domestic incident from last year.

Braxton Afifi, 26, injured an Atlantic City officer in the Aug. 9 incident.

Police received a domestic call to a residence on Missouri Avenue in Atlantic City on Aug. 9, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

As Officer Jesse Oliver-Logan tried to place Afifi in custody, the defendant pushed and pulled as he resisted arrest, according to the charges. He then struck the officer, who was injured.

Afifi faces a four-year term when he is sentenced May 9.
