A Philadelphia man allegedly came to Absecon's Heritage Park to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.
But Ema from Grindr was actually Cameron Decker, who makes it his duty to help capture child predators.
Nashiem Cephas-Lee, 23, told the "girl" his name was Noble. His alleged actions, it seems, were not.
In messages to the girl who told him, "I'm 15 but I act wayyy older," Cephas-Lee described a sex act he would perform on the girl.
Before meeting up with Cephas-Lee, Decker reached out to Absecon police and gave them the messages.
"Ema" said she would meet him at the park near her home. She said she would bring her dog.
What Cephas-Lee didn't know is that the park is also a short walk from the Absecon Police Department.
There was a dog, Valentina. But it was Decker who was holding her leash.
He livestreamed everything on his YouTube channel, the third he's had to put up since the video platform has taken two down. It doesn't support these types of "catches."
The video continued rolling as Cephas-Lee sat on a bench smoking a cigarette while Decker questioned him.
"Hypothetically, say the police were here and it wasn’t me," Decker said. "Do you think it would go well for you?"
"No," he replied.
At that moment, two officers can be seen in the distance, coming up through the trees.
Cephas-Lee remains unaware.
As Decker talks about the irreversible damage that could have come if there were a real girl, Cephas-Lee agrees.
“When we met up, I was gonna tell her like, you being on that app is not safe," he said.
He then starts to talk about the issues in Philadelphia, where he’s from.
As he glances over his shoulder, Cephas-Lee sees an officer quickly approaching.
“You’re under arrest for luring a minor," the officer says.
“I’m under arrest? What?” he asks as he is raised to his feet and handcuffed.
At the station, Cephas-Lee waived his rights, and admitted knowing the girl he intended to meet was only 15, Officer Mike Losasso wrote in the affidavit obtained by BreakingAC.
"He also made admissions that he had intentions of performing oral on her, or perhaps receiving it and 'seeing where it goes,'" the affidavit states.
Cephas-Lee is now in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on charges of luring a minor, sexual assault, criminal attempt and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is scheduled to have a detention hearing Tuesday.
