An Atlantic City man admitted to brandishing a gun and demanding money at a Pleasantville market.
Rahmir Brown, 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery and unlawful possession of a handgun in the Dec. 4, 2021 attack on a cashier at Joe’s Food Market.
He faces a five-year term for the robbery under the plea agreement, with him required to serve at least 85 percent before he is eligible for parole under the No Early Release Act.
Brown also will be subject to three years of intensive parole supervision upon his release.
The gun charge carries a concurrent five years with a mandatory 3½ years.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 7, before Judge Joseph Levin.
Brown remains in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending sentencing.
