A Pleasantville man was convicted of killing a teenager as he stood on his porch in Atlantic City.
Lewis Johnson, 34, was found guilty of murder Tuesday, after a trial that included testimony from his former girlfriend who previously admitted to her part in the killing.
Shaquana Lewis, now 38, was allegedly targeting Williams’ foster brother — her daughter’s boyfriend.
Johnson drove from Easton, Pa., to confront the parents at their home, after a physical fight between the kids the night before, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
When they arrived in the 2000 block of Blaine Avenue, Johnson ran up the steps to the second floor balcony, pistol whipped Williams and shot him in the back and foot.
Johnson then fled in the car, stopping at a Pleasantville liquor store before driving back to his apartment in Pennsyvlania.
He and Lewis were arrested in Pennsylvania the next day, with the gun used in the killing.
She is now serving an eight-year prison term at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. Lewis must serve at least 85 percent — or six years, nine months and 18 days — before she is eligible for parole.
Johnson was also found guilty of several weapons offenses, including certain person not to possess weapons.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 4 before Judge Todd Miller. He faces a maximum of life in prison without parole.
