Atlantic City police arrested five people, recovered a stolen vehicle, along with heroin, cocaine and marijuana within 45 minutes Tuesday.
The five were arrested in two separate early morning car stops.
At 2:06 a.m., Detective Garry Stowe saw a car reported stolen from Atlantic City at Kentucky and Pacific avenues, and stopped it, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
Justin Figueroa, 22, of Atlantic City; Damon Stevenson, of 25, of Trenton, and Maxine Anderson, 22, of Wilmington, Delaware, were arrested on for receiving stolen property. Stevenson and Anderson were also in possession of cocaine and marijuana, according to the report. Stevenson was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, while the other two were released on summonses.
At 2:49 a.m., Detectives William Warner, James Barrett and Joseph Corson were conducting a narcotic investigation in the area of the Atlantic City Apartments when they stopped a car.
Adam Williams, 23, was found with 99 bags of heroin and a knotted bag containing cocaine, Fair said. John Adams, 49, of Atlantic City, was found in possession of cocaine, according to the report.
Both men were released on summonses.
