  • News
A Pleasantville man wanted in an Atlantic City shooting turned himself in Tuesday. Laquea Boggs, 20, and an unknown man allegedly exchanged gun fire in the 300 block of North Virginia Avenue on March 9, according to the investigation by the city's Violent Crimes Unit. Quaheim Garner, 20, of Pleasantville, was caught in the crossfire, police said. Boggs was identified as one of the shooters about a week later, and sought on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Boggs surrendered at the Public Safety Building on Tuesday to Detective Steve Melchiore, who is assigned to the U.S. Marshal's Task Force.
