A gunshot victim showed up at an area hospital shortly after shots were fired in Pleasantville, police said.
Police were called to the area of Willard Avenue and Broad Street for shots fired at about 10:30 Tuesday night, Capt. Matt Hartman said.
No evidence was found at that time.
A short time later, Pleasantville police got a call from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus that a man had been dropped off with multiple gunshot wounds.
Zaire Forbe, 31, said he had been shot in the area of Bayview Avenue and the bike path in Pleasantville.
Forbe was shot multiple times in the pelvic area, according to the report.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The incident is being investigated by Pleasantville's Violent Crimes Unit.
