Atlantic City's tip411 led to 468 bags of heroin, a handgun and a ballistic vest.
Terrence Collier was arrested when detectives of the Special Investigation Section searched a home on the 900 block of North Carolina Avenue, following a tip about drug activity.
The message was sent through the tip411, which allows people to text information to 847411 (tip411) anonymously by beginning the text with ACPD.
The investigation by Detective Garry Stowe led to discovery of the drugs, gun and vest, along with $58,000 believed to be from drug trafficking.
Collier, 62, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a weapon during a drug offense, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
