Investigators are looking for someone seen leaving a vehicle found in Bridgeton with a man shot dead inside.
Miguel Lopez, 53, was found dead inside a vehicle after it crashed into trees on the 300 block of Spruce Street in Bridgeton on Sunday.
Officers called to the scene at about 8:30 a.m. found the victim had been shot, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.
Detectives from her office, along with Bridgeton police are looking for a second occupant seen leaving the victim, Webb-McRae said Tuesday.
There is no description of either the vehicle or the other occupant at this time, Webb-McRae said.
