A woman who was stabbed and then thrown from a car in Ventnor knew her attacker, police said.
The woman was found bleeding from about a dozen stab wounds at Newport and Atlantic avenues after
police responded to several 911 calls saying someone had been thrown from a car.
The suspect has been identified, and was in a relationship with the victim, Police Chief Doug Biagi said.
The man has been charged with "a wide variety of assault and weapons charges," but his name is not being released until he is caught, Biagi said.
The condition of the victim, whose name also is not being released, is not available at this time
