Owl City band member gets two years' probation for lewdness with child in A.C.

An Owl City band member was given two years' probation after he pleaded guilty to lewdness with a girl younger than 13. Daniel Jorgensen, now 32, was originally indicted Aug. 4, 2015, on charges of attempting to lure the girl and engaging in criminal sexual contact with her on an Atlantic City beach while the band was touring there about four years ago. Before Jorgensen was sentenced, the victim told the court that the crime had significantly inhibited her ability to lead a normal teenage life. Superior Court Judge Michael Blee sentenced Jorgensen to two years of probation, which he can serve in his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also was order to submit fingerprints and DNA.
