Suspect sought who crashed into Atlantic City police car with stolen car

  • News
Atlantic City police are trying to find a man who jumped from a stolen vehicle that then crashed into a police car. Officers Bryan Fleming and Kenneth Davis were patrolling the 4300 block of North Drive at 11:44 p.m. July 20, when they saw a silver Toyota Camry driving toward them, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. The driver jumped out, but the car kept coming, crashing into the marked car, according to the report. The man fled. While searching for the driver, the car's owner called 911, reporting it stolen from the 300 block of Albany Avenue. Officers found glass on the ground where the car had been parked, and the car had a smashed window, Fair said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 609-347-5766 or Crime Stoppers at 609-652-1234. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411) beginning the text with ACPD.
