A 21-year-old Pleasantville man was killed in a crash over the weekend.
Ronnell Moore Jr., 21, was heading west on Aloe Street at about 6:20 a.m. Sunday, when his car left the road for an unknown reason near Breman Avenue, crossed over the eastbound lane and sideswiped a utility pole, according to the report.
Moore’s car then swerved back toward the westbound lane, causing a Mays Landing driver heading east to swerve to avoid him.
Both cars then collided on the westbound shoulder of Aloe, police said.
Moore, who was wearing his seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.
The other driver, 48-year-old Michael Donati, was not badly injured.
Patrolman Ron Gorneau is investigating the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 609-652-3705, ext. 5095.
